Leisure International is a dream of two individuals who has a combined experience of 27 years in toy retailing and distribution. The organization was launched in 2012 to distribute internationally reputed toy brands in the Qatar market. The toy retailers of Qatar were traditionally being serviced from Dubai- the business hub of the Middle East, which posed many limitations in terms of service levels as well as brand building. Sensing an opportunity in getting the right products at the right time in Qatar, Leisure team decided to invest its resources into toy distribution in Qatar.

Establishing itself in Qatar in 3 years, we decided to explore the opportunities in other GCC countries as well. As a result, we opened our Bahrain branch in October 2014 and the UAE branch in April 2015. Towards the middle of 2015, we came across an opportunity to take over an established toy retail chain-Royal Toys- in Qatar. After completing formalities, all the four outlets of Royal Toys have been brought under the group from November 1st onwards. As an organization, our growth in 2015 was phenomenal both organically and by way of acquisition. During this period, our human resources count has grown from 20 persons to 75 persons.
